Grand Hotel Valies Roermond

Grand Hotel Valies is a luxury family hotel in a unique location at the center of Roermond. The hotel is located on the bank of the river Roer, surrounded by various historic buildings and the “Voorstad”, one of the oldest city districts. From the hotel you can see the adjacent River Roer and the ancient Maria Theresia Bridge, which was built in 1771 by order of the Austrian Archduchess. Behind the beautiful art deco façade of the grand hotel you enter affordable luxury.



The reception attendants are happy to inform you about the hotel, the surroundings, trips, (public) transport and other tourist information. The reception is open daily from 07:00 to 23:00 (Saturday & Sunday from 07:30 to 23:00). Check-in is possible from 15:00 till 23:00, when you arrive after 23:00 please contact our Reception. Check out is until 11:00 AM.

Parking garage (at the hotel)

You can park your car safely in the underground, private parking garage of the hotel. When making your reservation please indicate whether you wish to book a parking space or not. The costs are € 9.75 per car / per night. We also provide 3 parking spaces with chargepoints which are only available on request by contacting our reception. Across the road from the hotel there is also a public parking garage of Q-Park.

Cheerful Children's Room

In this family-friendly hotel, there is a large children's area of ​​approximately 200 m2 with a variety of children's entertainment, computer games and a small children's cinema. Hotel guests and guests of the restaurant may use this children's area free of charge. The children's room is suitable for children between 3 and 14 years. Although there are cameras for safety there is no supervision in the children's room and is used at your own risk. The children's area is exclusively for hotel and restaurant guests, and is not available for children's parties.

In addition to a rich club life Roermond has; Theatre ‘de Oranjerie’, the ‘Centre for the Arts’, ‘Het Historiehuis’ and ‘het Cuypershuis’ to name only a few. Famous architect Pierre Cuypers (1827-1921) who designed for example the ‘Rijksmuseum’ in Amsterdam, was born in Roermond. He left a legacy of beautiful buildings which have all been restored and are well worth a visit.
